Most volunteer activities take place Monday through Friday, 4–7pm, and on Saturdays between 10am– 5pm.
Most of our programming is campus-based, but some programming takes place at our partner schools, all located in Harlem within walking distance of the Morningside campus, and online.
Typical volunteer services include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as a teaching assistant for a small class of students on various subjects
- One-on-one tutoring
- Small group tutoring
- College and career mentoring
- Field trips, celebrations, and community building events
- Presentation, interview, and communication skills building workshops
- Office, administrative, or fund development support
